  14. For the first time, play pinball from inside the pinball machine! Follow 
  15. the bouncing ball as it careens from bumper to bumper and flipper to 
  16. flipper. Watch out for wind jets that will blow you all over the board. 
  17. 3-D PINBALL is realistic arcade fun.

  21. STARTING 3-D PINBALL

  23. When you first load 3-D PINBALL, you will see the main menu. Indicate 
  24. what type of graphics card you are using by typing [1] for CGA and [2] for 
  25. EGA/VGA. 
  26.  
  27. When you see the 3-D PINBALL title screen, press [SPACE] to begin. 
  28. Press [1] - [4] to choose the number of players and press [ENTER]. Turn the 
  29. sound on by typing [Y] or off by typing [N] and press [ENTER]. Choose 
  30. overall speed by typing a number between [1] (slow) and [4] (fast) and 
  31. pressing [ENTER]. Ball acceleration is also determined by typing a number 
  32. between [1] (slow) and [4] (fast) and pressing [ENTER]. Type your name 
  33. and press [ENTER] to begin the game.

  35. The upper right window contains score displays for each of 4 players as 
  36. well as a HIGH SCORE display. The bottom right window contains the 3-D 
  37. display of the pinball traveling around the pinball table. The 2-D view 
  38. of the table itself occupies the entire left half of the screen. Use the 
  39. keyboard to control the flippers and air jets.

  47. [F1]    Toggle display          [F2]    Suppress small 3-D display

  50. Press [F1] to toggle between the main display and a full-screen display 
  51. of the ball's 3-D perspective. Press [F2] to hide the 3-D window on the 
  52. main display. To quit during play of a ball press [ESC].

  54. You begin 3-D PINBALL with 4 balls (shown at the bottom of the 2-D 
  55. table display). When you lose your last ball, the game is over. Hit 
  56. [SPACE] to see if you made the top 5 score list. [SPACE] or [ESC] 
  57. returns you to the main menu.
